Does anyone else get annoyed by games nowaday with puzzles telling you the answer to it if you don't solve it in 20 seconds. Even games like GOW do it, and it irritates me every time. The main character from Horizon was like having a walkthrough talking to me the whole time.

So in my Psych class they have me writing a 3 page paper on video games and aggressive/violent behavior.
What is everyone’s thoughts on this?
I encourage all points of view on this.
I personally think it’s a double edged sword that also correlates with an individuals genetic history, the brain, and socioeconomic factors but would like to hear what others have to input!

I wanted to share my most Recent Platinum with you called Elden Ring.
Oh my that game was absolutely beautiful, a very great Open World Game with Incredible Bosses, Questlines, dungeons etc.
If you like Soulsborne, go for this Plat its not that Hard actually, totally Recommend it!
I was too busy to gawk over my DDDA platinum when I first achieved it. I obtained my first trophy for this game back in 2013. That was on the ps3. I have 39 out of 51 trophies for that version of the game.
DDDA has a great story, it's a very fun game to play and the environment is really beautiful. If you're into fantasy, I totally recommend this one.

Saw this app on here and it's so awesome. This is my collection so far. Finished valhalla and Witcher 3 this week. Going to try and get ratchet and clank and jedi: fallen order before Hogwarts Legacy comes out.
Platinum number 46: inFAMOUS First Light since I haven’t played Second Son or any inFAMOUS game this was a good one to start with, really enjoyed it. It was easy up to a point those arena battles are really something, and depending on how skilled you are they will annoy you. They did to me first but I kept practising and took my time with them, and it was a fun plat. Would do Second Son as well if I had it. Up next is either Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, Celeste, Crash Bandicoot or Metro 2033 Redux.
People didn't like seeing this pittie show up at dog sports competitions at first, but watch him win at everything!
I had expectations for this one. If you've seen even one western or vampire anything, you've seen this one. Presentation is also below average.
It gives you very little chance to digest or get your bearings before tossing you into a fast paced situation, bizarre terminology, names and... truly terrible dialogue. It has impatience and hack drama stamped all over it. Plus side is it does have a conclusion and no obvious sequel hook.
All of it had so much potential, but for whatever reason developers went down generic safe route. Whether due to lack of talent or not having guts for it, i do not know.
A thoroughly missed opportunity, is what this title boils down to.

I think more needs to be said about games being cinematic in general.
As a gamer, I couldn't care less about how good a game looks, if all I get to do is push a few buttons between fancy looking cutscenes.
I'm not gaming. I'm pushing a movie along.
If some people like that, I'm honestly glad for them, but I don't game to watch a movie.
I thought this was common sense until some 5-10 years ago.
In the end, it should be to each their own, but titles that are mostly cinematic based are not games, but clickable movies imho.
If someone likes that, that is fine, but let's start drawing a line between gamers and people who like to click along with a movie.
I‘m hoping someone can clear this up. I have a 2015 launch day PS4. When I play games games such as GoW: Ragnarok, Resident Evil: Village, etc… I’m able to enable the HDR setting and my TV swaps to 2160p. I thought this was only possible with a PS4 Pro. What’s the deal? Thanks!

Still enjoy a few hours on this ,we set it up on outdoor cinema screen last summer ,only 2 racing games I like ,this and hot pursuit the drift system so easy to pull off but struggle on other games

Uncharted its officially a closed chapter.
After crashing U2 save file (ps3), I let them on hold for too long. i went back playing U2/U3 with the servers closed and missed a few things.
U4 will be missing 2 trophies for not having the willpower for an extra 30 hours of multiplayer.
Uncharted: Fight for Fortune is a big NO and I'll stay way from this until there's more Nathan Drake.

It's a shame they removed the trophies for watching the cinematics for 358/2 and re:coded for the ps4 version.

Base game MP done on red dead 1. Was fairly easy with a good boost group. Just gotta know out the single player now.
I totally forgot about this little feature. Pining the trophies you're hunting to the side while you play. Helps when you're going back through old games to scoop up the Plat.

I recently approached the FF saga, I started from X and I'm finishing the whole series dedicated to FF VII, including films and spin offs. Right now I'm playing Crisis Core. I fell in love with the saga too late, I wish I had done it earlier. Among other things, I am happy that they have dedicated a title only to Vincent, my beloved. I could only pay homage to Cloud and company so I added to my collection a jacket with the whole group. Hope you like it.

It's a shame they removed the trophies for watching the cinematics for 358/2 and re:coded for the ps4 version.
If I still had the ps3 version I'd get those trophies too just to round it out, but I'm not spending money just for those.

Does anyone else get annoyed by games nowaday with puzzles telling you the answer to it if you don't solve it in 20 seconds. Even games like GOW do it, and it irritates me every time. The main character from Horizon was like having a walkthrough talking to me the whole time.

I personally think it’s a double edged sword that also correlates with an individuals genetic history, the brain, and socioeconomic factors but would like to hear what others have to input!

I wanted to share my most Recent Platinum with you called Elden Ring.
Oh my that game was absolutely beautiful, a very great Open World Game with Incredible Bosses, Questlines, dungeons etc.
If you like Soulsborne, go for this Plat its not that Hard actually, totally Recommend it!
I was too busy to gawk over my DDDA platinum when I first achieved it. I obtained my first trophy for this game back in 2013. That was on the ps3. I have 39 out of 51 trophies for that version of the game.
DDDA has a great story, it's a very fun game to play and the environment is really beautiful. If you're into fantasy, I totally recommend this one.

Saw this app on here and it's so awesome. This is my collection so far. Finished valhalla and Witcher 3 this week. Going to try and get ratchet and clank and jedi: fallen order before Hogwarts Legacy comes out.
Platinum number 46: inFAMOUS First Light since I haven’t played Second Son or any inFAMOUS game this was a good one to start with, really enjoyed it. It was easy up to a point those arena battles are really something, and depending on how skilled you are they will annoy you. They did to me first but I kept practising and took my time with them, and it was a fun plat. Would do Second Son as well if I had it. Up next is either Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts, Celeste, Crash Bandicoot or Metro 2033 Redux.
People didn't like seeing this pittie show up at dog sports competitions at first, but watch him win at everything!
I had expectations for this one. If you've seen even one western or vampire anything, you've seen this one. Presentation is also below average.
It gives you very little chance to digest or get your bearings before tossing you into a fast paced situation, bizarre terminology, names and... truly terrible dialogue. It has impatience and hack drama stamped all over it. Plus side is it does have a conclusion and no obvious sequel hook.
All of it had so much potential, but for whatever reason developers went down generic safe route. Whether due to lack of talent or not having guts for it, i do not know.
A thoroughly missed opportunity, is what this title boils down to.
