“I’m Going to be a Momma!”
Jill discovered that she was possibly pregnant. Jill and her boyfriend Thomas could not decide what to do, especially during this hard economic time. Finances were already tight and adding a baby into the mix created feelings of fear and anxiety. They had seen reports on the formula shortage and this was the very thing that pushed them to set up an appointment for an abortion.
The couple had found an abortion provider, but they would have to travel a long distance for their appointment. Before they left town to make the trip to have an abortion, they came to a PreBorn! Pregnancy Clinic. They were met with love and compassion as the volunteers and staff helped them walk through each concern they had. They were presented with the Gospel and received prayer. Jill and Thomas were given information on all the resources that were available to them, including an ultrasound.
They had told each other that if the ultrasound did not show a beating heart, they were going to drive straight to their abortion appointment. As the ultrasound nurse performed the ultrasound, the screen revealed a tiny beating heart. A smile came upon Jill’s face and with tears rolling down her face, she said, “I am going to be a momma!” Jill and Thomas cancelled their abortion appointment and made an appointment for the Clinic’s prenatal classes. They left the PreBorn! Clinic excited for their future with their baby!
