I’m Donna Williams: a Navy veteran, animal lover, and the founder of My Pet Credentials. My passion for animals truly began as a little girl. Although at the time, I didn’t have the resources to care for them the way I do now.
As a child, I made a habit of rescuing and saving animals from the streets, a habit that followed me into adulthood and continued during my time in the Navy. Serving in Puerto Rico quickly introduced me to the horrible reality that stray animals face on a day-to-day basis. For as long as I can remember, animals have been at the center of my life. After years of rescuing and rehoming them, I realized there had to be a better way to support the people and organizations doing this important work. That’s when My Pet Credentials was born. Not just as a business, but as a mission to reunite lost pets with their families while providing comprehensive pet management tools for all of the animal lovers out there.
Our platform was built with heart and purpose. From our patent-pending Two-Way Pet Registration and Transfer of Ownership services to our Rescue Rewards Program and mobile app, everything we create is designed to make a difference. We partner with shelters, rescues, and foster families because we know how hard they work, and we’re here to lighten that load.
Alongside My Pet Credentials, I run The Dog House Pet Salon, a full-service grooming business with three locations in the Houston and Pearland areas. This business success has given me the resources and freedom to focus on what I love most: rescuing animals through Donna’s Love Pet Rescue. Every rescue is personal to me. I can tell you stories about each one because they’re not just animals – they're family. And they deserve second chances, just like you and me.
This is more than my work: it’s my life. Through My Pet Credentials, my family is building a community that not only cares deeply for animals but also stands behind the people who give them a voice. Together, we’re creating a world where every pet is seen, loved, and protected.
Jeffrey Davis
I’m Jeff Davis, CEO and co-founder of My Pet Credentials. When I think back, my love for animals began at an early age. Growing up, our pets were never “just pets.” They were family. So much so that we often referred to them as our siblings.
I spent the first 20 years of my professional life as an executive in the financial sector. Although it was a stable and successful path, something was always missing. Life, as it often does, opened an unexpected door.
A longtime friend and his wife invited me to join their pet care business, The Dog House Pet Salon, and I felt compelled to say yes. What started as a career pivot became a personal awakening. I discovered that working with animals and the people who love them gave me a sense of fulfillment I hadn’t experienced before. For the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of leading a business built around care, trust, and compassion.
They say, “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” That’s never felt more true to me than it does now. I wake up every day excited to do work that matters. Work that makes an impact on my community, their families, and the animals that bring so much joy into our lives.
Most importantly, I wouldn’t be here without the support of my incredible wife, Jill, our four amazing children, and our two precious granddaughters. This journey has been one of passion, purpose, and love—and I’m grateful every single day for where it’s led me.
