A Letter from the President
Dear Pet Lovers,
I am writing to you today with a heartfelt message about the mission that drives everything we do at My Pet Credentials. As President and founder, I want to share with you the passion and purpose behind our work. I want to invite you to join us in making a difference for animals everywhere.
In addition to my work with My Pet Credentials, I have also built a successful full-service pet salon business, The Dog House Pet Salon, with three locations in the Houston and Pearland areas. This success has allowed me to give back and live out my true passion: rescuing animals and bringing positive change to the pet industry through Donna's Love Pet Rescue.
From the very beginning, my goal was to create a community of pet owners and like-minded individuals who believe, as I do, that every animal deserves a voice and a chance to be happy. This vision has guided us in building a platform that not only supports pet owners but also empowers animal rescues, shelters, and foster parents to make a lasting impact.
When I started this journey, I had four key goals in mind:
Making microchips more effective: I wanted to ensure that microchips and rabies tags are reliable tools for pet identification, giving lost pets the best chance of being reunited with their families. This was achieved through free microchip and rabies tag registration and our patent-pending Two-Way Pet Registration service.
Simplifying the adoption process: I wanted to eliminate the hassle of registering microchips or physically exchanging paperwork when adopting a pet, making the experience smooth and worry-free for new pet owners. This was achieved through our Transfer of Ownership service
Supporting animal rescues and shelters: I wanted a platform that provided funding for boarding, grooming, surgeries, food, medication, and everything else needed to care for lost or stray animals. This was achieved through our Rescue Rewards Program.
Empowering pet owners: I wanted to create the most advanced pet health management tool possible, giving pet owners the resources they need to care for and keep their beloved companions safe. This was achieved with the My Pet Credentials App.
I also aimed to create a platform that supports small, independent rescues—those run by individuals who balance full-time jobs with selflessly saving animals. Our platform is entirely free for them to use, enabling them to raise funds, recruit foster parents, and connect with like-minded individuals who share their dedication. They can also access a 24/7 helpline for any assistance they need. Additionally, the platform allows them to list rescued and stray animals for adoption, helping these animals find their forever homes.
Through our non-profit, MPC Cares, we have turned these dreams into reality. These funds help build facilities, provide care for stray and rescued animals, and support the tireless efforts of individuals who dedicate their lives to saving pets.
